We share grief
From the past, present, and future.
From very early times that seem to repeat themselves
My ancestors were likely part of so much grief to other humans and the land
the beavers decline,
and in turn our ecosystem and water supply
The current state of the world
under a dominating confusing social structure built off wounds
hurt people hurt people
the flow of water will stay the same until new pathways are built
or
new pathways can be pushed forward by dams
the beavers know best when it comes to dams
