DAM EMOTIONS
Emotional intelligence is essential for health and well-being, like water is essential for health and well-being, though I may notice the lack of water first.
Beavers create dams for deeper water to protect their den. The dam structure creates healthy changes in the ecosystem, including filtration of the water.
If water were emotions the beavers, after listening to their instincts, become dedicated builders so that they can then emotionally deep dive to create a safe environment. The structure created from their dedication then also cleanses the emotions and creates a safe, resource-abundant, environment for many.
I have come to want to be like the beaver.


My Den
Building habits that support grief and sustain my life the same way a habitat is sustained through the habits beavers maintain. Habits support me in living the life I want to live so when I incorporate or maintain habits that help me feel fully, life feels more fulfilling.


Animal Companionship
Connecting the love I feel from my animal companions to supporting my emotional and mental well-being. Caring for them does more for me than can be expressed into words.




Somatics
Sharing my own exploration in somatic teachings and how emotions move through my body so that I can keep moving freely. Emotions are physical so I feel best when I physically move them through intention and gentle movements repeated often.
Harmonizing Work
Working to balance all the elements within my life and self to work in harmony with all around me. Music tends to bring grief in a way I can cry and feel relief, as well as immense wonder and joy.
